AGREEMENT: The Weekend MVP

This is a Terms of Service, not a negotiated contract. You agree before payment.

I. THE DELIVERABLE (WHAT YOU GET)

  • Source Code: Full ownership of the GitHub repository transferred to you.
  • Deployment: One live, functioning web app deployed to Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare Pages.
  • Core Feature Set: Up to 3 distinct user flows (e.g., "User Signs Up," "User Uploads Photo," "User Gets Result").
  • Tech Stack: I choose the stack. Standard: Next.js / Supabase / Tailwind. You don't get to request Laravel.
  • Documentation: README with setup instructions and environment variables.

II. THE ANTI-SCOPE (WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED)

  • Design Revisions: I build based on the vibe/description you provide. There are no "can we make the blue bluer?" rounds. You get one round of functional revisions (within 48 hours of delivery).
  • Copywriting: You provide the text, or I use AI placeholder copy. I am not your copywriter.
  • 3rd Party Headaches: I will connect standard APIs (OpenAI, Stripe, Auth0, Supabase). I will not debug your obscure, undocumented, proprietary enterprise API.
  • The "One More Thing" Clause: Any feature request sent after payment is received is automatically a Phase 2 engagement. Minimum $1,000. No exceptions.
  • Native Mobile Apps: Web apps only. No native mobile app development included.

III. HANDOFF & MAINTENANCE

  • The "Keys on the Counter" Policy: Once the repo is transferred and the site is live, the engagement ends. I hand you the keys. What you do next is your business.
  • No Warranties: The code is provided "as is." I do not offer ongoing bug fixes, server maintenance, or on-call support after the sprint is complete.
  • Self-Hosting: If you move the code to your own infrastructure and break it, that is your adventure, not mine.
  • Hosting Costs: You are responsible for any hosting fees after handoff. Vercel/Netlify free tiers are usually sufficient for MVPs.

IV. PAYMENT & REFUNDS

  • 100% Upfront: Work begins only when funds clear. No invoicing, no net-30, no exceptions.
  • Kill Fee: If you cancel mid-sprint, I keep 50% for the time slot reserved. The slot is the product.
  • No Refunds After Delivery: Once the repo is transferred and the site is live, the transaction is complete.

V. TIMELINE

  • The 72-Hour Window: Delivery within 72 hours of the Scope Lock Call concluding (96 hours for Micro-SaaS tier).
  • Your Responsiveness: If you take 24 hours to answer a clarifying question, the clock pauses. Don't ghost your ghost developer.
  • Early Delivery: If I finish in 36 hours, you get it in 36 hours. I don't sit on completed work.
